Full Cuirass Lamellar Leather Armor with Tassets

Lamellar items consists of small platelets known as "lamellae" or "lames", which are punched and laced together, typically in horizontal rows. Lamellae are not attached to a cloth or leather backing (although it is typically worn over a padded undergarment).

Hand crafted from 14-16 oz. burgundy tanned leather, with hand detailed edging and solid metal buckles and fittings.

Each lamellar piece is 2" by 4" in size, and has been individually edged, hand dyed, and thronged together with black 550 para-cord so that the armor flexes and moves with your body.

This piece comes with four tassets with 1.5" X 3" Square Lamellae to protect your legs.

Made for a full sized man ( 42" chest )

SCA Compliant for combat.
